Newcastle Noir at City Library

 Newcastle Noir returns for its 6th year on 3rd - 5th May. The hugely popular weekend event moves to a new home at Newcastle City Library having previously being held in the city’s Lit & Phil. Over 80 authors taking part in panels, workshops and fringe events - it’d be a crime to miss it.
And this year, amongst a stellar line up of local, national and international authors, we’ve got a panel dedicated to the Welsh Dragons of the crime fiction world. Taking place on Saturday 4th May: Welsh Noir; we’ll keep a welcome in the hillside welcomes GB Williams, Thorne Moore, Matt Johnson and Phil Rowlands. Welsh Society Curry Night

On the 18th of March the society met at Char Masum in Stannington for our annual curry night. It was a lovely night, with fantastic food as always. The restaurant owner gave the society £5 for everyone that attended. Thank you for your support!

WALES 6 NATION GRAND SLAM CHAMPIONS

The Society met at the County Pub in Gosforth to watch our final game of the 6 nations knowing a win would give us the Grand Slam title. And boy didn't we do well?! There was a fantastic turn out. Great to see new faces. Full speed ahead for the World Cup!
