We meet throughout the year as a group in Gosforth and also meet up socially to watch Welsh international games.
A new year for the Newcastle Welsh Society is on the horizon.
Join us on Wednesday the 8th of October for our first event of the year; Presidents Night. Meet fellow Welsh folk, enjoy some musical entertainment along with a buffet to get the year underway! 19.00 at the Northern Rugby Club, Gosforth.

The society was founded in 1905 with the object of providing opportunities for Welsh people in the Newcastle area to meet socially and to continue their interest in the language and culture of Wales.

The objects of the Society are the furtherance of a spirit of friendship and mutual co-operation among its members and the preservation and celebration of the National culture, language and traditions, and particularly the promotion of functions which will stimulate the appreciation of Welsh Music, Literature and Drama. All Welsh people and all who can find a common bond in Welsh associations and interests are invited to Membership. The Society offers a cordial welcome to all newcomers to the district.
All meetings held at Northern Rugby Club, McCracken Park, Gosforth, NE3 2DT on the first Thursday of the month at 7.30pm (unless otherwise stated). Please feel free to turn up at any of the meetings.
